About

Schauleh Vivian Sahba designs patterns for textiles and surfaces.

She started Bouclé SF as a creative outlet to turn inspiration into reality.

Her designs reflect the places that have left lasting impressions on her: Tehran, Paris, Buenos Aires, Florence, and San Francisco.

Having trained formally in fashion design at Polimoda, Florence and in business economics at the University of California, Santa Barbara, she has a love of fashion and design that stems from her family, including her mother, who is a dressmaker, and her grandfather, who was a textile merchant. She is moved by the unique, as well as design innovations that are simple and elegant.

And in case you’re curious, Bouclé is French for the girl with the curls. The fabric with the loops. The deal that’s sealed.

Enjoy!
